Must admit I looked at your trailer online more than once and considered the long drive to California. I, too would like to find another vintage one for our kids and grand kids to use while with us in our Colorado mountain getaway.
Ric, love your little Lincraft (a brand I haven't yet heard of). Where in Colorado is this campground and am wondering just how many Colorado folks we have in this group?
Hi Peggy, I am excited and will get some pics up soon. I went to the Timeless Travel Trailers yesterday and met some neat ladies. What a group, Bev, June, Ellen, Malita, Drea, Lisa, Lane, Diane, Jan, Crista, Cathleen, Doreen and Irene! Lunch at the ChitChat gave me a chance to visit and learn alittle more about them.
By the way, I filled out the SOFT app , but it didnt' ask me for the $. How do you complete the process for membership?
PEGGY I WOULD LOOK AT THE FRAME,TONGUE,AXLE FIRST BECAUSE THEY ARE HARDER TO REPAIR. ROTTED WOOD ROOF/WINDOW LEAKS ARE COMMON ON THESE CAMPERS AND CAN BE FIXED WITH BASIC REPAIRS.
Thanks for the name of the artist. And your mural painter is pretty awesome too. It really reminded me of Donna Howell-Sickles work so it caught my eye. If you don't know her work, you can see it here: http://www.donnahowellsickles.com/
Here are a couple of my favorites!
I want to find a trailer and do something very similar to your fantastic job! I may write for the muralist's name and drive out there. Hard to find such a good job! Thanks!
Peggy, is your profile photo of your trailer, or one you saw? It's wonderful! Colorful, bright and well painted! Very nice! I lived and worked at CSU years and years ago and heard Ft. Collins has really grown. Has it?
PEGGY THIS CAMPSITE WAS IN PUEBLO STATE PARK JUST WEST OF PUEBLO CO. LINCFAFT'S WERE MADE IN LINCOLN NE. AND THAT IS ABOUT ALL I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT THEM. P.S. I LIVE IN MISSOURI
1966 Chevrolet Beechwood motorhome i need any parts for it, i realy need any and all little doors on the outside for vents or gas covers, windshield wipers etc, etc.
Thanks for the info. Our truck had a little trouble pulling it. We found the original 6 gal water heater and the new one 30 gal were both full when we got home. I've taken pics and notes all day as I started demo. I'll post todays pics soon. The cam…
I am not an "incinerator" expert, but have been told they don't work well if heavily used. The clean out can be particularly unpleasant. They are more for remote cabin type use, where it's possible folks also have an outhouse. I would do lots of res…
