I have trailer fever! I bought my 1955 Comet 14ft travel trailer in July and I am slooooowly working on getting her back into shape. I have never taken on anything this overwhelming before but I love it and want ten more trailers to fix up. I like looking in other people's trailers, online mostly, my fiance calls it my trailer porn. I want to do a picture book/restoration manual about Okie trailers and their owners and how they fixed what needed fixin'. I also would like to create an all travel trailer caravan tour of Oklahoma's stretch of route 66 and help revive all the small towns that once survived through tourism. These are just pipe dreams of mine, but someday soon I'll have that damn Comet fixed up and ready for my Honeymoon.

I don't know yet. People will just have to recommend some to me I guess.
Hi Kris, my first trailer everyone laughed at me, I stored it at a gun range and they shot at it and stole my tools. Enjoy your dream and keep on keepin' on. Everytime I drag a beat up old trailer home my neighbors now run over to see the "before". They even trailer spot for me. Sometimes when I have a really overwhelming project I get frustrated, but I learn as I go and ask around and just keep plugging away and then you step back and are amazed that you did it! Good luck with your comet! Can't wait to see it!
