Thanks for the comments on the photos. We were up in your neck of the woods a few weeks ago. We have relatives in the Gentry area. We drove the toad for just a quick visit but took the time to tour some of the great camping sites in that area. All in all we had a great time doing recon for future trips in the beautiful state of Arkansas. But first,,, back to Lake-O-The-Pines for another week come August. Have a good road and lots of "eye candy"

Thanks for the words of incouragement, but we did get to put a few miles on Big Ole Texas T. The eight days we spent at Lake-O-The-Pines was great. Caught enough fish for a good meal that we fried up that night. We drove the back roads all the way so the senery was great and the pace was leasurly. We were so impressed with the site, that we got on the ole puter and made reservations for the same site in early August. I am posting some of the pix on Good Ol RVs

Funny you should drop a line at this time. Sandy and I are in the process of securing down the last of the food stores in the bulging cabinets of the "Big Ole Texas T.", and we are heading out for 8 days at Lake-O-The-Pines in east Texas.
My wife and navigator, Sandy has been knawing at the bit for the past month and a half like a Xmas eve child waiting to head out. I'm putting the final touches on the sat. dish and repacking in it's compartment(I ain't got one of them there fancy pop ups). We are booked for eight days on a site that overlooks the lake. We plan on catching fish too. Y'all have a great one and always take the back-roads.
