What paint

Thanks, Was thinking of something along the lines of the old "coach paint " which is brushable. May well stick with the white and just keep blue stripes. Save myself a job !!!!

If you already have the squirrel cage fan you might try cutting a piece of 1/4" plywood that will block one of the openings in the side of the trailer. Cut the wood so you can seal the edges with duct tape enough to hold it in place and support the…

Very nice looking rig! I don't know what's available in the UK. Here, several people have used "industrial" type paint from Ace Hardware. It is supposed to be the same as automotive or implement (tractor) paint, paintable with a brush or roller and…

Yeah they do look like a bow tie.

Fantastic actually supplies a foam gasket with their fans-I've use them a couple of times with Dicor over the screw heads and flange. It seems if the company gives you a gasket-it should work...otherwise, regular putty tape will be fine between the…

Clutch heads? As above, they look like bow ties...Ace hardware can get you a bit.

Can you post a photo of them?

If they are square -no problem ,almost any store ,Sears ,HomeDepot,Lowes. will have them---another from the 60-70's almost looks like a bowtie ---------used on every fitting in my Starcraft from 1977-a bit harder to find, have a original screwdriver…

Are they square looking screws? If so any auto parts stores will have bits and drivers for them. Ed

As some of you will know I am trying to sort a leak on our motorhome. I have noticed that the majority of the fittings are secured using whats looks to be some kind of security headed screws. Does anyone have a name for these or if you can get hold…

Well thought I'd cured it, but checked this morning ( daily ritual!!! ) after a day of hard rain and there is still water coming in, its not dripping off the inner window frame screws now, so must have stopped some. Hopefully my new waterproof cove…

Good-a picture will help. You may be able to adapt a battery holder from something else. I'm not sure a 1974 part will be available even in a junk yard...wouldn't hurt to look, tho. I don't remember seeing a battery operated sparker on an RV fridge. I do have a battery run glow plug on my kerosene heater. Thanks, VK

Hi Dean, I need a litttle more info on your fridge. What year is it? Do you have a photo of the area that needs a cover? Is it a cover with the spark plug like fitting or a little box with connectors? You might be able to make a sliding cover to lit it manually. It would take two people to light it. VK
