I didn't think that it was too much like a desert. The more southern we were, of course the more desert like it was. We actually stayed in South Fork, CO at a resort called River Bend Resort the last time we went. The resort is actually some really nice, but not extravagant, cabins just about 50 yards off the Rio Grande River. There were also full hook-up, RV sites and tent camping available. The resort is also the resort featured in National Lampoon's Vaction (the one were they travel to Walley World). It is a must see. Have fun in your adventures in CO.

Hi David. Man, it's been a long way since I've been up your way and had some hangtown fry... and apples in the Fall. In fact, sounds like a good reason to visit my mother and sister in Penryn down the hill from you.

If you love Sand, you've gotta e-meet and check out Scoot/Sandman Jim in San Diego. Go to Videos and click on some of his Glamis Sand Rail videos and photos. You can become "friends" with him, i.e. will get a quick alert when he posts
by going to his profile and clicking Friends Request if and when you want.

Love to see some photos of the interior of your bus conversion. Photo of our old 58 Flxible is at the top of our rv community home page... use to be the Sacramento Airporter in the early 60's.

thanks again for joinin. pat

Stay in man that is what the public needs is for someone to show the big company they can't scare and run the little guy off. Hope you the best. Jim

Do you have any interior photo of the streamline?

A retro classic from the past. All aluminum, aircraft style build. Aluminum interior, no leaks, solid floor, rear bath model, with twin beds. Needs very little to be excellent. Getting rare and hard to find in this shape.
