I bought this 1979 24' Roll-a-Long RV for a song back in 2000 and it has been great. Drives nice and smooth and gets about 8mpg. Everything works except the dash AC which needs a hose and a charge. It does everything we need it too.

Thanks so much, David. I think I'll try Morrow Bay. I may have been there. Remember one harbor that had a big rock. maybe that's it. I'll google around.
Thanks a bunch and hope to buy you a cuppa coffee someday when I'm out your way.

David, welcome and thanks for the picture of your Roll-A-Long. After our wreck in colorado in our bumper pull I think we'll go back to a classic C like yours. See our Colorado "Wreck" blog.
Small world, I was just in Bodega Bay last week scouting for a possible winter camp. The fisherman said that it is known as "blow Dega" during the winter due to winds off the ocean and recommended something "over the hill" from the pacific ocean; maybe Petaluma north.
What is the weather like in that area in California? Our cabin is in Oklahoma and it's from 5 above to 35 here in winter so we are either thinking of going to Northern California... if the weather is ok in January/February or Texas.
